Setting up Your Router

In order to configure the your Cisco Router, you must first set up your router lab correctly to insure accurate testing of your configurations.

Steps to Setting up your Router

  1. First, you need your topology.
  2. Ensure that your DTE/DCE cables are connected to your serial ports properly. (DCE to S0 and DTE to S1).
  3. All Ethernet ports between the routers are connected via Crossover cable.
